A bit much?

A bit much?

So, somewhere around 9 months ago I realized I had been out of the hippy stages for quite a long time and getting rid of a ton of Janis Joplin box sets and collectables was well over due.

SO, I went to my pal Ebay!  Some guy purchased the items I had for sale and paid a hefty price for shipping to the Netherlands, stating he was only paying that much because his sister LOVED Janis Joplin.....whatever.....the transaction went smoothly and that was the end of it...... 9 MONTHS LATER, I get a "friend request" on facebook and after about 10 minutes of trying to figure out why this guys name sounds familiar, I realize it was the guy off Ebay that bought my Janis Joplin crap!

My question is: isn't this at least a tad bit creepy?

If you are ever in Kentucky

Posted on: 05/26/09

If you are ever in Kentucky

Last weekend we went to Cumberland falls.  I had planned out an entire camping weekend and was excited that we stuck with our plan to leave the driveway as soon as Klay got off the bus.

To make a REALLY long story short, I locked my keys in my car on the first night in the middle of no where in pitch dark....

I had to pee in the woods all weekend -despite the public bathrooms equipt with showers- because from day 1, we were informed copperheads were nesting around them and 3 had already been slayed in the womens bathroom!

Other than that, it was a GREAT weekend.  I would STRONGLY suggest that if you ever visit Kentucky (not that it's the "hot spot" for vacations, but just in case you have to drive through Kentucky on your way to somewhere cool, make sure you stop at Cumberland Falls and grab the first white waterrafting trip you can get your hands on!!

Low Calorie Crack in a Can

Low Calorie Crack in a Can

I'm not a "energy drink" kind of gal, but to me these things are the greatest thing on earth to put some MOJO into your day without making you fat! (or fat-ER in my case).

Even if you drank the whole thing yourself, you would still only be consuming 100 calories...... such a small price to pay for something that keeps you from blaring the music in your office and cranking the air conditioner just to stay awake!

Playing in the big leagues

Playing in the big leagues

So we played our first 2 co-ed softball games last week and got CRUSHED!!  Needless to say, after the first ass kicking, half our team went and slammed several drinks in the hour break before our second game started.  Funny enough we did a tad bit better in the second game then we did the first!

As our team has spent the last week confused as to how we managed to suck THAT bad, we were all in agreement that we all thought we were a decent team.

So, as of about an hour ago, we have discovered that the person who signed our team up "accidentally" signed us up under the wrong league!! After begging and pleading for a switch in leagues, they pretty much told us to screw off and deal with it!!

SO.....we don't get to just get stomped ALL SEASON, but we get to get stomped TWICE by each team because we play each team twice!!!

 YAY!! GO TEAM!!

Hope it gives you hell...

Hope it gives you hell...

So those of you that are familiar with the song "Gives you hell" by The All-American Rejects....I have had this song on my phone as a ring tone since almost the very moment it came out.  If you haven't heard the song, look it up!

I was at the mall yesterday and decided to go into the Christian book store.......I know......what in the WORLD was I doing in a Christian book store? I think I wandered in there looking for a bookmark for a friend.

ANYWAY, one of the ladies that was working there was just approaching me to ask if I needed help when at the very same moment, my phone went off, blaring through the entire store "When you see my face, hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell"..... My response? No words, just turned around and left the store......if I believed in God, I would be going to HELL!

Oh, I must be bored

Oh, I must be bored

As my first blogging attempt, I am at a loss of words.  I am 29 years old, married to a man that somehow manages to put up with my unpredictable attitude DAILY, and I have an awesome & forgiving step son that is now 8.  In addition to our fam, we also have 3 dogs....a boxer, pit-bull & Jack Russell who find a way DAILY to test my patients.

Not really in the mood to write more.  You'll be lucky if I get pictures on here by the end of today!
